Studio Everett is the creative studio of Brighton based Abi Everett, a multidisciplinary artist and designer. Her studio was founded out of a simple desire to create great design for great people; people who want to make a difference and be good to the planet. Abi is a passionate believer in supporting other creative entrepreneurs and celebrating independents.

Alongside her client work which includes: visual identity development, commercial illustration, murals, packaging, website design, and creative direction for brands including Faith in Nature and Quorn, Abi also flexes other creative muscles creating art for her online shop @evergood.store where she creates ‘happiness for your home’ through her vibrant and playful illustrations.

After studying Graphic Design at Shillington College in Manchester in 2014, Abi then spent three years teaching the subject at a Sixth Form College in Hampshire, before jumping headfirst into running her own creative studio by the sea in Brighton. Abi’s days are now made up of a mixture of creative projects, walking her dog Oscar, and regular coffee shop visits for a chai latte and a vegan pastry. She says the best thing about living in Brighton has to be seeing the sea every day!

Abi has always been drawn to colour and contrast and this is a common theme throughout all her work. Within her personal work in particular, she also explores botanical subjects and playful movement through shapes and pattern. Inspired by the world around her, Abi is drawn to the organic lines and movement within nature, the bold colours of floral blooms and the contrast of different architectural shapes coming together in harmony.

Although currently a lot of her personal artwork is drawn digitally using Procreate, Abi has plans to explore more tactile and analogue methods in the near future to expand her practice. Abi says a dream of hers is to develop some large sculptural pieces and work on more large scale installations where she can combine her love of mural design and 3D shapes to create an immersive experience.
