Magdalena Krupska is a designer creating manual and digital graphics as well as linocut prints. She graduated from Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Techniques in Warsaw, Poland in 2017 with a master degree in linocut. Magdalena enjoys creating lino prints the most; “Making linocuts takes way more effort, time and imagination. It’s the soul of design. All is made by hands and tools only”.

The topics covered in her artworks are not always the same, but in the end all come down to the expression of herself through the body and mind, through the emotions and fulfilling of the soul with creativity and colours. One of her biggest personal interests is the study of colours and how they affect the psychology of a human’s frame of mind. Magdalena states; “Because every colour is vibrating energy in the universe, I believe that each of us has our own which represents us. It’s not a coincidence that most of my works are in warm colours.”

Her hopes for the future are quite simple; to make a living from art and creation. “I want to be inspired and inspire others all my life. I don’t chase to become famous or have thousands of followers on Instagram, I just want to be the best I can in what I do and share the good energy with the ones who would like to appreciate that,” says the printmaker.

Still at the beginning of her art adventure and in the learning process, Magdalena is currently working on her little linocut studio in Santa Cruz Portugal and experimenting with having her own working space where people can approach her.
