Street Art for Home is an international presentation of works by graffiti artists which includes three exhibitions across three locations; Sofia, Sao Paulo, and Bogotá. Organised by Sito Studio and Visionary, with support from the National Fund “Culture” under the program “One Year Grant”, Bulgarian and international street and graffiti artists have joined their creative forces for a collective exhibition with unique serigraphs, Risograph prints, and limited edition eco bags. The works were presented in Sofia in Sito Studio at 66 Tsar Simeon St., and a print run was also went to Brazil and Colombia.
The works were all created at Sito Studio, a screen printing studio located in Sofia, Bulgaria. Here, through a series of workshops the artists had the opportunity to dive deeper into the technology of manual screen printing and put into practice their skills. Thus, in the future, the featured artists will be able to easily create accessible limited edition works of art. During the 2023 edition, the participants also had the chance to try Risograph printing and created some mini prints alongside their silkscreens. All of the pieces featured in the exhibition are hand printed by the artists in two editions; 2021 and 2023.
All invited artists in Street Art For Home 2023 worked together with Visionary to create a collection of murals in public spaces around Sofia. Many of these artworks were the inspiration for the prints created for the collective exhibition; thus allowing admirers to take a piece of street art home.
Street Art For Home 2023 included works by Acidum Project (BR), JahOne (BG), Santa Gross (CO), Sé Cordeiro (BR), Sve Yankov (BG), Video.SCKRE (AT/ DE), Wedo (ES), and Yeto (BG).
Artists included in the first edition back in 2021 were; Aleksi Ivanov (BG), Bilos (GR/BG), The Felon (BG), GANA (BG), GLOW (BG), JERMAIN (BG), KOTK (BG), and MOUSE (BG).
Street Art For Home 2023 is part of the Symbiosis project, including a series of cultural exchange activities initiated and organised by Visionary (BG), Sé Cordeiro (BR), Cuas (BR), Santa Gross (CO), and Traque (CO).
