posted by POP Members February 13, 2019
Ricco Pachera began his printmaking journey in his first Job as an offset printing technician. After a couple of years Ricco started a second apprenticeship as a graphic designer at Studio Geissbühler, and went on to gain experience in advertising with Spillmann / Felser / Leo Burnett.

Since April 2009, he has worked as an independent graphic artist in his office at the Weststrasse in Zurich Wiedikon. Ricco works as a freelancer for advertising agencies and is supported by selected copywriters, photographers, image editors and programmers. Ricco believes that he is an old school graphic designer as he works mostly with analogue, paper cut sketches and handmade paintings.

After 10 years as a self employed graphic designer, Ricco still enjoys practising a combination of analogue and digital techniques, and wishes to continue to develop his future work in this way.
