Ridge + Roots Carving and Printmaking Sets

Ridge + Roots has always been a passion project inspired by adventure, wellness, and growth. Towards the end of 2020, this concept of growth took on a new role as Gina released a series of carving and printmaking sets to help share her love of print.

“I have always believed that art should be accessible, whether that be for purchase or to dive into the creative process, not just for the wealthy or professionally trained. Art can be traced back to our earliest existence, and I believe we all should have the opportunity to be impacted by the creative process” says Gina. This was the motivation that led her to release her own carving and printmaking sets, especially after the events of 2020 where people became isolated and disconnected from their normal daily lives and routines. Gina states; “Personally art, especially carving and printmaking, has historically served as therapeutic and meditative, and I wanted to be able to share those experiences with others”.

Gina has put together 3 sets:

Carving Set

Includes 4 high-quality palm tools and a wooden storage box. This is perfect for upgrading tools or purchasing an all-around, complete printmaking set.

Basic Printmaking Set

Everything you need to get started in printmaking with the added bonus of easy clean up. Includes the carving set, 2 easy carve blocks, archival ink pad, 20 sheets of printmaking paper, and a guide to printmaking.

Deluxe Printmaking Set

The full printmaking experience! Includes the carving set, 2 easy carve blocks, 1.5oz jar of ink, brayer, acrylic inking plate, 2 palette knives, spoon, 25 sheets of printmaking paper, and a guide to printmaking.

Additional items include; ink jars in your favourite colour, paper and blocks, Flexcut slipstrop, and digital downloads to aid the printing process. Two YouTube videos utilising the basic and deluxe sets are also live to help understand the process.
