Our Top 5 Clothing Items on Department Store

posted by Amber Weaver April 10, 2019

Although Department Store started off as a platform where creatives could sell the prints they produced, as it grew as an online curated marketplace, Department Store has now expanded into other great collections. The store now boasts over 300 independent designers, artists, printmakers, collectives, studies, shops and artists with products spanning across prints, publications, homewares, accessories, stationery and last but not least, clothing. Below we’ve chosen our top 5 clothing products by 5 of our lovely sellers. Do you have clothing items you’d like to sell through our platform? APPLY HERE.

Forces Creative
First in our selection of items is the screen-printed t-shirts of London-based studio Forces Creative founded and run by Mark. Whether it’s sunset moods or VHS vibes you’re after, Mark has you covered with his clothing range featuring 1980s inspired graphics. Every t-shirt is branded with an inner neck print and size detail, a nice touch, as well as every order packed with a special vinyl sticker! Shop his full collection here.

Hattie Clark — FACE OFF t-shirt
Hattie Clark is a freelance illustrator based in West Yorkshire. We love her colourful, playful illustrations which are usually plastered onto prints but recently Hattie has produced a series of screen-printed t-shirt designs. They are super soft and 100% organic rung-spun combed cotton from Stanley Stella. Shop them here!

Childsdraw – Easy Longsleeve T-shirt
Creating all her garments from Peckham, South London, Childsdraw (created bt Jessica Childs) is an illustration-led brand that creates limited edition leisurewear and homewares. We loved the black Easy Longsleeve tee featuring playful graphic typography.

Jill&Gill – Debbie
We love the love of creative duo Gillian Henderson and Jill Deering, especially this boss-lady Debbie screen-printed t-shirt. Why not add a sense of illustration to your wardrobe? 😉

alicurska – LOOKOUT Sweatshirt
Also known as Urška, alicurska is a Slovenian-based Graphic Designer who works independently as a screen printer. Our final choice lands on her LOOKOUT Sweatshirt a Unisex hand screen-printed piece of clothing featuring playful shapes and delicate lines.
