Over the past six years The Jaunt have sent artists on trips all over the world. However, this September they are excited to do things a little differently with the launch of The Jaunt Summer Camp.
From 16 to 20 September 2019 The Jaunt will be hosting four artists from different corners of Europe in an old restored farmhouse in the midst of The Ardennes, Belgium, in a small town named Ferage. The Ardennes is an area well known for its outdoor activities. Amongst the forested hills and deep valleys there is the opportunity to kayak the rivers, hike through the landscapes, discover the caves or explore the historic castle ruins.
The Jaunt have invited four artists to join them on their Summer Camp; Linnéa Andersson, Boicut, Laura Callaghan and Andy Welland. They will spend their days together exploring their new surroundings, sharing stories and inspiring one-another. Whilst at the camp each artist will create a limited edition silkscreen print alongside a series of original works, which will all be exhibited later in the year.
